SUSAN ANN OKONIESKI

Susan A. Okonieski, of Hunlock Creek, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024 with family by her side.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Caroline Puff Haremza and was a graduate of East Brunswick High School, Class of 1971. Employed for the last 28 years by the Social Security Administration most recently as a Social Insurance Specialist. Susan enjoyed spending time with family, especially her great grandson, going to breakfast with friends and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Alfred Jr., Michael, Margaret, Stephen, Judith and John.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Paul Okonieski; three daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Wolfe, April (Mike) Bankus, Amy (Chris) Dazi; three grandchildren, Troy (Krysia) Bankus and Anna Bankus; Nichelle Wolfe; great grandson, Auden; siblings, Mary (Joe) Georgewitz, Theresa and Gloria Haremez and many nieces and nephews.

Susans wishes were to have no public services.
