ROBERT SORBER

Robert M. Sorber, 68, of Hunlock Creek, passed away at home, September 1, 2022.

Born in Montgomery Township, he was the son of the late William and Vivian Lewis Sorber and was a graduate of Northwest Area High School.  Robert served his country proudly in the United States Navy in the Gulf War and Iraq for 22 years and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Award; Navy Expeditionary Medal; Navy "E" Ribbon; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with one star and the National Defense Service Medal.  He enjoyed spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Sorber.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Steven Sorber and his wife, Jessica of Hunlock Creek; brother, Douglas Sorber and his wife, Nina of Quakertown; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Private visitation and funeral for family will be held from the Piatt Funeral and Cremation, 6 Sunset Lake Drive, Hunlock Creek with interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
