Nancy M. Dana, 89, died peacefully at home June 28, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born December 3, 1934, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the daughter of Edward and Irene Collicott.
She was a graduate of Meyers High School and went on to earn her RN nursing degree in New York City. Nancy spent many years working in the OR as a Surgical Nurse at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Nancy was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and hosted many lovely gatherings at her beautiful lake house. She had a deep appreciation and love for music and enjoyed playing the piano. Her happy place was spending time walking on the beach.
Nancy is preceded in death by husbands Edward Warner and Richard Dana, her twin daughters, Nancy and Mary, and sister Gladys Collicott.
Left to cherish Nancy’s memory are her three sons, Edward, David and wife Debbie, and Paul Warner; six stepchildren Amy, Rick, Cindy, Molly, Nanette and Scott; grandchildren, Eric, Joshua, Sarah, Melissa, Allen and Chris; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at the Piatt Funeral Home, 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek, with Pastor Neil Martin, officiating.
Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 10:00 AM, until the time of service.
Interment will be immediately following the service at Benscoter Cemetery, Muhlenberg.
