Lori David

Lori Jean David, 62, of Glen Lyon, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Allied Hospice, Meade Street, with her family by her side.

Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Jean Strait and was a graduate of Northwest High School and Luzerne County Community College,

Lori was employed as a youth development director with the Boys and Girls Club and was a member of Nebo Baptist Church, Nanticoke. She enjoyed crocheting, doing diamond art, and especially spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Strait and Neil Strait.

Surviving are her husband, William David; son, Ryan Pucci of Glen Lyon; daughter, Reillee David of Glen Lyon; stepson, William David of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Ryan, Gabriella, Carter, Serenity, and Wyatt; brother, Wade Strait; two nephews; and one grandniece.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. from Piatt Funeral and Cremation, 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
