JOHN P. DAVIS, JR.

John P. Davis Jr. 75, of Stillwater, died on Friday, July 14, 2023, in the VA Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born In Hunlock Township, he was the son of the late John and Lillian Howey Davis Sr. and served his country proudly in the United States Marines during Vietnam as a disabled veteran.  He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal with device; Vietnam Service Medal with one star and the Purple Heart Medal with one star.  

John is survived by his siblings, Carolyn (Ed) Sheffield of Florida; Jeffrey Davis of Benton; Pamela LeValley of Shickshinny; Kelly Davis of VA; nieces, Nicole LeValley and Kim Ertle and many friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 3:00 pm from the Piatt Funeral and Cremation, 6 Sunset Lake Road, Hunlock Creek with Pastor Purdy officiating.  Interment will be private in Indiantown Gap Cemetery, Annville.

Friends are invited to join the family from 2:00 pm on Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home.
