Gail M. Hittle

Gail Marie Hittle, 72, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026 in Smethport, Pennsylvania (McKean County). Gail is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Bernadine Cragle, brother Andy Cragle, sister Melissa Vrabel, daughter Amity Potichko, and son Eric Eisenhauer. She is survived by her sons Brian Eisenhauer and Garrett Hittle, grandchildren, Brian, Shawn, Keri, and Erica Eisenhauer, her granddaughter Ashleigh Protichko and Ashleigh’s companion, Damien Schumaker-Suarez, her brother Earl (Skip) Cragle, and her sister Christine Fleeger.

Gail enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and especially cooking. She loved sharing meals with others. She loved riding her motorcycles, vacations in Canada, and camping, where her funnel cakes over the campfire were a hit with everyone in the campground. 

She loved her church and church family, Muhlenburg United Methodist Church. She felt blessed to be part of their mission to help people in the community. She was passionate about helping and doing for others.

In lieu of flowers, Gail requests monetary donations to Muhlenburg United Methodist Church in her memory, or a charity of one’s choice. At her request there will be no formal funeral, with a graveside service to be held at Oakdale Cemetery, in Hunlock Creek, PA on May 12, 2026 at 11:00am with a fellowship luncheon to follow held at the Muhlenburg United Methodist Church at 12:30pm.
