GERALDINE R. MAZONKEY

Geraldine R. Mazonkey, 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, September 12th, 2024. Gerry was born in Hunlock Creek, PA, on March 27th, 1940, to the late John and Jenny (Barziloski) Sikora. She is the sister of Robert “Chip” Sikora and the late John “Junior” Sikora, II.

Gerry was a beloved family member who will be remembered for being the life of the party. She tirelessly worked to bring loved ones together by hosting festive gatherings. At all times having a smile on her face, a drink in her hand, and a delicious kielbasa on the stove! 

Gerry was a graduate of Shickshinny High School. She spent much of her adult life working as a key punch operator for the Anheuser-Busch Corporation in northern New Jersey. Her later years were spent living in Wilkes Barre. She enjoyed listening to country music, watching game shows, and cracking her quick-witted jokes. 

She is survived by her loving brother, Chip, his wife Marion, various cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside funeral will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Hunlock Creek.
