DONALD VIOLINI

Donald K. Violini, 54, of Nanticoke, formerly of Hunlock Creek, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

Born in Kingston, Donald was the son of the late Donald and Patricia Okachunis Violini. He was a graduate of Nanticoke High School and throughout his life, Donald was known for his hardworking nature and love of working with his hands. As a mason, he took great pride in his craft and the work he did, which allowed him to stay connected with his love of construction and outdoor labor.

Donald was a man of simple pleasures—his time outdoors brought him joy, whether it was spending time in nature, working on projects, or simply enjoying the beauty around him. 

He is survived by his sons, Devin Violini, Tylor Violini and sister Donna Rinehimer.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Hunlock Creek. Deacon Florian Gyza will officiate the service, which will be a time to honor and celebrate Donald’s life.

Arrangements are being made under the direction of Piatt Funeral and Cremation Services.
