Camille H. Jescavage, 65, of Hunlock Creek, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025, following a prolonged illness.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, Camille was the daughter of the late Frank and Nancy (Johns) Jescavage. She was a graduate of Hanover Area High School, Class of 1977, earned her undergraduate degree from King’s College, and went on to receive her Law Degree from Oklahoma State.
Camille worked for TMG Health before retiring. A woman of many passions, she was a devoted animal lover, especially of Beagles, rescuing and adopting many throughout her life. She also had a special place in her heart for cats. Camille loved traveling—Cape May being one of her favorite destinations—and was an avid race walker. She was a talented cook who enjoyed experimenting with new recipes, following culinary shows on the Food Network, and engaging with food communities on Facebook.
In addition to her parents, Camille was preceded in death by her sister, Georgette Jescavage, and her grandparents, Frank and Jennie Jescavage, and Charles and Edith Johns.
She is survived by her loving companion of 25 years, John “Jack” Adams of Hunlock Creek; her brother, Frankie Jescavage and his wife Rhonda of Edmond, OK; her sister, Melanie Yozwiak and her husband Charlie, of Pittston Twp; and her beloved nieces and nephew: Justin Jescavage, Brittnay Jescavage Edmond OK, Mallory Yozwiak and her husband Frankie Alatrista, Northampton PA, and Meredith Yozwiak, Pittston Twp PA. Also surviving are great-nieces Oaklee and Hadlee Jescavage Edmond OK, aunts and uncle, Carol (John) Danko of Wilkes-Barre and Helen Johns of Plains; and many dear close cousins who held a special place in her life.
Camille also leaves behind extended family members, including John R. Adams of Kingston, Roseanne (Donny) Casey of Cherry Hill, NJ, Nancy (Jay) Larralde of Kingston, and Susan (Jim) Shoemaker of Wyoming.
As per Camille’s wishes, there will be no formal services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Piatt Funeral and Cremation Services, Hunlock Creek.
