BARRY T. SCOTT

Barry T. Scott, of Shickshinny, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11 th 2024 at Allied Services Skilled Nursing Meade Street, Wilkes Barre.

Born in Berwick, September 1, 1949, he was the son of Betty Sorber Scott and the late Jack Scott. Following high school graduation, Barry joined the US Navy and served this country proudly. He retired in December 2023 as National Sales Manager for Reidler Decal Corporation. He enjoyed vacations in the Outer Banks, spending time with family, playing yahtzee and along with his late wife had a passion for rescuing golden retrievers. He was a member of Reyburn Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Brezinski Scott.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Brian(Rebecca) Scott of Hunlock Creek, Jeremy (Nicole) Scott of Berwick; three grandchildren Brandon, Alex and Andrew, brothers Rick (Pam), Bill (Jackie) and Jody(Jamie) Scott all of Shickshinny; nieces and nephews.

No public services will be held. Interment will be in Sorber Cemetery.
